Terms of Use for PDFExchanger

Welcome to PDF Converter (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). These Terms of Use are entered into by you (hereinafter referred to as "the User") and the App developer (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "our"). Please read these terms carefully before installing, accessing, or using the App. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions of this agreement.

1. Description of Services

The App provides document conversion and management services, including but not limited to converting images and Office documents to PDF, as well as merging, splitting, and compressing PDF files. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the service at any time without prior notice.

2. User Conduct

When using the App, you agree to comply with the following rules:

• Lawful Use: You shall not use the App to process or distribute any content that is illegal, harmful, infringing on third-party copyrights, or otherwise prohibited by law.
• Content Ownership: You are solely responsible for the content you process. You must own the rights to the documents or have obtained legal authorization to use them.
• No Reverse Engineering: You shall not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

• App Ownership: The App, including its source code, design, icons, and algorithms, is protected by copyright laws and international treaties.
• User Content: We do not claim ownership of the documents you process through the App. All intellectual property rights to your content remain with you or the original author.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

Please understand and agree to the following:

• "As Is" Basis: The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for stability, we do not guarantee that the service will be error-free or that the conversion results will be 100% accurate.
• Data Loss: We are not liable for any damage to documents or loss of data resulting from improper operation, device failure, or force majeure. Users are encouraged to back up important documents regularly.
• Layout Variations: Due to formatting differences between document types, converted results may have slight layout deviations from the original files.

5. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases (If Applicable)

If the App includes premium paid features, the following rules apply:

• All subscriptions and in-app purchases are handled through your Apple iTunes account.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off in your App Store settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

6. Changes and Termination

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time based on business needs or legal requirements. Updated terms are effective immediately upon being posted within the App. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We may terminate your access to the service if you violate these terms.

7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the developer's jurisdiction. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be resolved through friendly consultation; failing that, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent people's court in the developer's jurisdiction.
