PDF Converter ("we," "our," or "the App") is operated by an individual developer. • Device and Log Information: To ensure the secure operation of the software, diagnose errors, and optimize performance, we may collect information such as your device model, operating system version, app crash logs, unique device identifiers (e.g., IDFV), and IP addresses. This information generally does not identify a specific natural person.
• Feedback and Communication Information: When you contact us via email for technical support or to provide suggestions, we collect your email address and the communication records you proactively provide to respond to your requests.

2. Document Data Processing and Privacy Security

The core function of the App is to process your documents. We have established strict protection measures for this:

• Local Processing Priority: The majority of PDF conversion, merging, and compression functions are performed directly on your device (On-Device). We cannot access, view, or store any file content you process locally.
• Cloud Transmission and Instant Deletion: For specific complex conversions that must rely on high-performance cloud engines, we transfer files to protected temporary servers via SSL/TLS encrypted channels. Once the conversion task is completed, the system automatically triggers a destruction mechanism to immediately and permanently delete your original and output files from the server. We promise not to perform any form of backup, archiving, or manual review of your files.

3. Legal Basis for Data Use

We process information only for the following purposes:

• To comply with legal and regulatory requirements;
• To fulfill the service agreement and provide the document conversion functions you require;
• To improve app performance through anonymized statistical data;
• To resolve technical issues you report via support emails.

4. Data Retention and Destruction

• Personal Information: Unless otherwise required by law, we only retain your contact information for the shortest period necessary to achieve the purposes described in this policy.
• Document Data: Local files are managed by you. Cloud-based temporary files are permanently deleted immediately (usually within seconds to minutes) after the conversion task is completed.

5. Third-Party Service Plug-ins

The App may integrate third-party SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics or AdMob). These partners may collect your Advertising Identifier (IDFA) or usage data.

• We recommend that you review the privacy policies of these third parties to understand their data processing practices.
• You can revoke authorization for these third parties at any time in the iOS system via "Settings - Privacy & Security - Tracking."
